Transparent pannels have a high transmitance rate, which allows one to look through the pannel as if it was glass, and it requires less 90% of electricity than an average retro-iluminated LCD.
How does it work? A transparent LCD uses environment light, such as sun light,
which consequently reduces the energy needed, since there is no retro-iluminated pannel to power.
